The N-332 runs along the coast and is the daily free alternative, though significantly slower at peak periods. Public transport is limited: there is a bus connection between Pilar de la Horadada and Torrevieja, but frequency is low and Las Esperanzas is not a main stop. A car is not optional — it is essential.

The case for Las Esperanzas over neighbouring areas comes down to a specific trade-off: more space and residential quiet at a price level that still reflects the southern Costa Blanca's relative affordability compared to Torrevieja or Orihuela Costa proper. The proximity to Lo Romero Golf and the Torre de la Horadada coast will suit buyers for whom golf and beach access matter but who do not need to be walking distance from either. It does not suit buyers who want walkable amenities, rental income from tourists, or a lively social scene — this is a quiet residential zone.
